CastMath
TERMS OF SERVICE

The deal between you and CastMath.

Effective:2 May 2026 Version:1.0 Governing law:NSW, Australia
▸ THE SHORT VERSION

Use CastMath responsibly. Pay your subscription. Your data is yours — you can export or delete it any time.

Founding member pricing is locked for life unless you cancel. We can update terms with 30 days notice. NSW law applies.

§ 01

Who you're agreeing with.

These Terms of Service form a legal agreement between you ("you", "Customer") and My Cosmic Message Pty Ltd (ABN 30 652 358 159), trading as WOW Enterprise Company, of Sydney, Australia ("we", "us", "CastMath"). The CastMath product is operated by Built by Asteris, our studio of record.

By creating an account or using the CastMath service, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.

§ 02

What CastMath provides.

CastMath is a software-as-a-service product for podcasters that helps you:

  • Track revenue and expenses tied to specific podcast episodes.
  • Calculate sponsor rates based on your performance and industry benchmarks.
  • Generate basic tax and cashflow forecasts.
  • Manage a sponsor pipeline.

The full feature set may evolve over time. We commit to giving 30 days notice before removing any feature you've actively used in the prior 90 days.

§ 03

Your account.

You're responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure.
  • All activity that happens under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorised access at hello@castmath.com.
  • Providing accurate information at sign-up and keeping it current.

One person per account. You can have multiple podcasts on one account if you operate them yourself or as part of the same network.

§ 04

Subscriptions and payments.

CastMath operates on subscription tiers (Solo, Pro, Studio, Network). Pricing is shown on the website at the time of purchase. Subscriptions are charged in advance — monthly or annually — via Stripe.

  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time via account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • Failed payments: If a payment fails, we'll retry over 7 days and notify you. After 14 days of unpaid balance, we may suspend the account. Data is preserved for 30 days before deletion.
  • Refunds: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled but no pro-rata refund is issued.
  • Price changes: Standard subscription prices may increase with 60 days notice. Existing subscribers keep their current price for the remainder of their billing period.
§ 05

Founding member commitment.

If you joined as one of the first 100 paying CastMath customers under the founding-member offer, the following commitments apply specifically to you:

▸ FOUNDING MEMBER GUARANTEE

Your founding-member price is locked at 50% of the standard tier price for as long as you remain a paying customer without interruption. We will never raise your founding rate. If you cancel and return, the founding rate does not reactivate — you re-join at the prevailing standard rate.

  • Tier upgrades: If you upgrade to a higher tier, your founding-member discount applies to the new tier (50% off the higher standard price).
  • Tier downgrades: Downgrading mid-cycle takes effect at next renewal. Founding rate maintained on the lower tier.
  • Pause: You may pause your subscription for up to 60 days per year without losing founding status.
§ 06

Acceptable use.

You agree not to:

  • Use CastMath for illegal purposes or to facilitate illegal activity.
  • Attempt to access other customers' accounts or data.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract our source code.
  • Interfere with the service's operation, security or other users' use of it.
  • Resell access to your account or sub-license CastMath without written agreement.
  • Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights or contains malware.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach with reasonable notice (immediately for serious breach).

§ 07

Your content. Your data.

You own everything you put into CastMath. Transactions, sponsor records, voice memos, photos, podcast metadata you provide — all of it remains yours.

You grant us a limited licence to process your content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you (storing it, displaying it back, running calculations, generating reports). This licence ends when you delete the data or terminate your account.

We never use your content to train AI models. We never sell or rent your data.

§ 08

Our intellectual property.

The CastMath software, brand, design, copy and methodology are owned by My Cosmic Message Pty Ltd. Your subscription gives you the right to use the service — not to copy, redistribute, or build derivative products from it.

Reports and exports you generate using the product (rate sheets, tax forecasts, P&L exports) are yours to use freely in your business.

§ 09

Termination.

You can terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from settings.

We can terminate your access if you materially breach these terms (with notice and a chance to cure where reasonable), or immediately for serious breach (illegal activity, security violations, repeated payment failures, fraudulent conduct).

On termination: your data is preserved for 30 days for export, then permanently deleted. Tax-relevant records may be retained per the Privacy Policy §09.

§ 10

Beta and early-access notice.

CastMath is in active development. Founding members and early-access subscribers acknowledge:

  • Features may change, be added, or be removed without prior notice during the early-access period (defined as the first 12 months from public launch).
  • Service availability targets are best-effort. We aim for 99.5% uptime but don't formally guarantee it during early access.
  • Tax forecasts, rate calculations and benchmark data are decision-support tools, not professional financial or tax advice. Consult a qualified accountant before relying on outputs for filings.
§ 11

Limitations and disclaimers.

To the extent permitted by law:

  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties about uninterrupted operation, error-free function, or fitness for any specific purpose beyond what's described.
  • Our maximum liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We're not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost sponsorship revenue, or losses arising from rate calculations or forecasts.

Nothing in these terms limits any consumer guarantees that apply to you under Australian Consumer Law or equivalent statutory protections in your jurisdiction.

§ 12

Governing law and disputes.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.

Before litigating, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by direct contact for at least 30 days.

§ 13

Changes to these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes (changes to pricing, refund policy, dispute resolution, or your rights) require 30 days notice via email and an in-app notification.

If you disagree with the new terms, you can cancel your subscription before they take effect and receive a pro-rata refund of any annual prepaid amount for the remaining period.

Minor corrections (typos, clarifications that don't change rights or obligations) are made without notice but always logged in the version history.

§ 14

Miscellaneous.

  • Entire agreement. These terms plus the Privacy Policy form the complete agreement between us.
  • Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver. Our delay in enforcing a term doesn't waive our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You can't transfer your account without our written consent. We may transfer our rights as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
